Fish Pepper (Capsicum Annuum)

This heirloom pepper came about in the 19th century. Originated from Africa/American culture. Just pepper recently got popular in 1995. In the cities of Philadelphia and Baltimore. When unripe you get to variations a white pepper with green stripes and a green pepper with white stripes.

This pepper ripens red. And if you look closely the stripes bleed through slightly. Medium heat very tasty. super high yields and in my personal experience the plants get two to three foot tall Max.

The pepper was made into a sauce for a fish. The sauce was made with unripened peppers to have a smoother less heat taste.
