Masquerade pepper is an ornamental pepper but can be eaten just like any other pepper. A lot of times ornamental peppers are labeled as not edible due to bitterness. Most ornamentals have a little bit of bitterness of bitterness but they are edible.
Is slight sweet flavor and mid hot. These peppers will turn yellow purple and red. I call these a porch pleasure cause they look beautiful.
