#First year release #Isolated Seed
Teja Habanero (Capsicum Chinense)
A very special thank you to Matthew Arthur for letting me grow and release his first year release
Matthew was going for a lower heat about a habanero level with this cross. My personal experience from eating many peppers of these. The heat is anywhere from very very hot to super hot. The flavor is a nice orange taste and I sense a little bit of lemon citrus flavor in the background. With large amounts of heat.
The pepper was named after Matthew Arthur's wife Carla's grand daughter Teja. Matthew is one of those types of people very laid-back and does anything for a smile. And that what and that is what he achieved with naming this pepper after her.
The cross is of jay's Peach ghost scorpion X purple Naga brain strain (purple to brown ripen). This pepper has very high yields medium to large peppers. Cuz from a green with purplish black on it. Till it reaches its final ripening color a beautiful Orange.
